Here is an awesome video we ran across dealing with large format sublimation printing. It's something we hope to add to the shop soon. We need to first find out what type of drum based heating press is being used to transfer the image to the t-shirt. This process is known as sublimation printing and can only be done on shirts with a high polyester content. The lowest polyester content that should be used with sublimation printing is a 60/40 blend, so the majority should be polyester. The advantages of sublimation is the one-at-a-time type of process it involves. Also, it can have a very soft "hand," meaning the print isn't bulky. In fact, you can barely feel a sublimation print. Depending on the shirt type, sublimation inks, heating consistency, etc. you will come out with a vibrant or not so vibrant image. Cool video though!
